After a Product syncs to your Dashboard from a connected store (i.e. Shopify), any updates made in the store listing page must manually be made to the corresponding Product in your Dashboard (SKU Code, Name, and Custom Declarations).
Update SKU Code or Name
If you update the SKU or Name in a connected store (i.e. Shopify), you must manually update the SKU/Name in your Dashboard; updates do NOT automatically sync to your Dashboard.
- Navigate to your Products Dashboard
Dashboard -> Settings -> Products - Input the SKU code into the search field and select search, or manually find the SKU / Name in the list. Select the SKU code to Edit.

- In the 'General' tab, update the SKU and/or Name fields.

- Select the 'Other Info' tab, and then select 'Save'.

You have successfully updated the SKU / Name.
Update "Minimum Safety Stock" Quantity
If a 'Minimum Safety Stock' quantity is specified, clients will be notified via email when available inventory is below this quantity (for a Product or Kit). Available kit inventory is calculated based off of the available component inventory.
- In the 'General' tab, enter / update the 'Minimum Safety Stock' quantity.

- Select the 'Other Info' tab, and then select 'Save'.

You have successfully updated the Minimum Safety Stock quantity.
Edit a Product SKU
- Navigate to your Products Dashboard
Dashboard -> Settings -> Products - Input the SKU code into the search field and select search, or manually find the SKU / Name in the list. Select the SKU code to Edit.

Update "Irregular" Pack Types
Optional: you may add an "Irregular" Pack Type for cases and/or pallets (example: if your base UOM is consistently* case-packed). This may be important for whole-case or whole-pallet billing for wholesale and B2B fulfillment. You can set up one configuration per Pack Type.
- In the 'Pack Type' tab, under 'Irregulars':
- To add a new Pack Type, select 'Add New Irregular Pack Type'.
In the pop-up window:
- Dropdown and select 'Pack Type*':
- Select Case if you are setting up a case-pack
- Select Pallet if you are setting up a full pallet configuration
- UOM Quantity: Enter the quantity of the base UOM contained in the Pack Type.
- If the Pack Type (Case) has a unique scannable barcode, add the barcode. If the Pack Type does not have a unique scannable barcode, toggle 'Use Primary (UOM) Barcode(s)' to 'Yes'.
- Select Add
- Repeat these steps to add an additional Irregular Pack Type.
- Dropdown and select 'Pack Type*':
- To delete an existing Pack Type, select the X icon to the right of the Pack Type.

- To update an existing Pack Type, select the pencil icon to the right of the Pack Type.

In the pop-up window:- Dropdown and select 'Pack Type*':
- Select Case if you are setting up a case-pack
- Select Pallet if you are setting up a full pallet configuration
- UOM Quantity: Enter the quantity of the base UOM contained in the Pack Type.
- If the Pack Type (Case) has a unique scannable barcode, add the barcode. If the Pack Type does not have a unique scannable barcode, toggle 'Use Primary (UOM) Barcode(s)' to 'Yes'.
- Select Add
- Repeat these steps to add an additional Irregular Pack Type.
- Dropdown and select 'Pack Type*':
- To add a new Pack Type, select 'Add New Irregular Pack Type'.
- Select 'Next', and then select 'Save' under the 'Other Info' tab.

You have successfully updated the Pack Types.
Update Custom Declarations (international shipping only)
If a Product is shipping internationally, you must add custom declarations under the 'Advanced' tab. This is critical for international shipping label generation.
- In the 'Advanced' tab, enter / update the following required info:
- Declared Value
- HS Tariff Code (Harmonized System Code)
- Origin Country Code (2-digit Country Code)

- Select the 'Other Info' tab, and then select 'Save'.

You have successfully updated the Custom Declarations.
Bulk Update Products
A). To bulk update Minimum Safety Stock quantities, Custom Declarations, SKU Codes, or Names, download the Badger Bulk Update Products Template.
B). To bulk add Irregular Pack Types, download the Badger Bulk Update Product Pack Types Excel Template.
- Fill out the Excel template with necessary Product information
- Navigate to the respective 'Bulk Import/Update Products' page
Dashboard -> Products -> Bulk Import/Update - > Products or 'Pack Types & Barcodes'
- Drag and drop your files in the window or click to browse. Your files will populate below. Select Upload, and then select Import on the next screen.

- View the import status in the lower window (you may need to select the refresh button). If the import is successful, the Status will show "Successful". If the import is unsuccessful, select the three dots -> Details, under 'Actions', to reference any error messages.

- Lastly, after any product import, double check the SKUs were properly updated in the Product page.
Update Kit Components
- Navigate to your Products Dashboard
Dashboard -> Settings -> Products - Input the SKU code into the search field and select search, or manually find the SKU / Name in the list. Select the SKU code to Edit.

- Edit components details in the 'Components' tab.
- Adjust an existing component quantity
- Delete a component
- To add a component, enter a Product SKU code or Name into the Search field. Enter the component quantity and then click the + icon to add the SKU to the Kit component list.
- Select the 'Other Info' tab, and then select 'Save'.

You have successfully updated Kit components.
Delete a SKU
In order to delete a SKU, the SKU must not be added to any Purchase Orders or Shipment Orders.
SKUs containing any receiving or shipment history cannot be deleted in your Dashboard.
- From your Products Dashboard, select the checkbox to the left of the SKU, then select 'Delete'. Confirm this action on the pop-up screen.

Mark SKU Inactive
You have the option to mark a SKU "inactive" in your Dashboard. This may be useful for filtering old SKUs (no longer in use) in your Products Dashboard. Inactive SKUs can be changed back to an active status.
"Inactive" SKUs cannot be added to new Purchase Orders or Shipment Orders.
- To mark a SKU inactive, toggle 'Active?' field to "No" in the Edit Product screen. Select 'Save' in the 'Other Info' tab. Toggle 'Active?' field to "Yes" and save, to make active again.
