Low Inventory Notifications

Receive a system generated email notification when Product "Free" inventory quantity drops below a designated "minimum safety stock quantity" (inventory "Free Quantity" accounts for open allocated order quantities).  The email includes an Excel file attachment containing data for affected SKUs.   A notification is triggered every day an "insufficient" inventory condition exists, across all applicable SKUs.  The notifications are sent from info@badgerfg.com (no-reply).

All operational contacts are initially setup to receive these notifications.  To update recipients, Request Support in the Help Center.

Activate Notifications in Your Dashboard

To activate this notification, designate a 'Minimum Safety Stock' value for at least one SKU in your Products Dashboard.  A unique value can be assigned for every Product-SKU.

Dashboard -> Settings -> Products

Be sure to Save the changes under the 'Other Info' tab:

You have successfully updated the Product's Minimum Safety Stock; you will receive an email once inventory free quantity drops below the designate number.

Bulk Update Minimum Safety Stock Quantities

If updating many Safety Stock Quantities at once, you have the option to bulk update, using an Excel template.

  1. Download the Badger Bulk Update Safety Stock Quantities Excel Template. Fill out and save the template.
  2. Navigate to your Dashboard Bulk Update Products page.
    Dashboard -> Settings -> Products -> Bulk Import/Update -> Products
  3. Drag and drop your file in the window or click to browse.  Your file will populate below.  Select Upload, and then select Import on the next screen.
  4. View the import status in the lower window (you may need to select the refresh button).  If the import is successful, the Status will show "Successful".  If the import is unsuccessful, select the three dots -> Details, under 'Actions', to reference any error messages.
  5. Lastly, after any product import, double check the SKUs were properly updated in your Products Dashboard.
